Project consisting of a slide projection with sound edited from conversations between the artist and different Irish Travellers and English Gypsies living on different sites and in housing accommodation in London. By offering first hand insights into the realities of Gypsy, Roma, Traveller lives the project aims to help counter prejudice and misconception.

Eva Sajovic
Eva Sajovic, born in Ljubljana, lives and works in London. Graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design London, where she currently lectures. She works with socio-documentary themes; in collaboration with the subject, revealing personality through images and words as a counter to negative social stereotypes. Sajovic has been working with Traveller communities for the last four years, most recent projects: Pavee Widen (Travellers Talking) a book of photographs and texts made in collaboration with STAG (Southwark Travellers Action Group). Be-Longing, an exhibition and associated events at the 198 gallery, London, supported by the Arts Council England. Holocaust Against Sinti and Roma and Present Day Racism, an exhibition and associated events she curated for GRTHM
